We are considering a decentralized database as the IT infrastructure for The International Cooperatives Bank. In managing data for The International Cooperatives Bank, we believe that it is necessary to avoid the global concentration and oligopoly of data as represented by GAFA, and to manage data at a regionally consolidated level.
For this purpose, we are considering “FIWARE”, which was developed as an IoT platform in the “European Smart City Platform” project. FIWARE can be connected to other platforms with the same interface, and we believe that it will also be possible to manage distributed data.
